Sparkle of Sparkle's Creations has a great idea--she is challenging us to make a card a week and then when Christmas rolls around, you'll have all your cards done! It's brilliant really, except that my lazy self has not been playing along...
This week the challenge is to use strips of paper on your card. I really wish I could get the whole paper weaving thing down, so in the spirit of practice practice practice, here's my card.

As you can tell my wEaViNg Is WoNkY. But, with a couple of screaming kids in the tub last night, and a hubby who was trying his best to control the situation so his hormonal wife could veg at the scrap table, I think it turned out ok.

Now go check out Sparkle's card, cuz it's fantastic!
Details: all CTMH unless noted
Paper: B & T from Evensong Creative Basics, colonial white cs
Ink: Cranberry and New England Ivy
Stamps: Christmas Melodies
Other: ribbon (Hobby Lobby) foam squares and glue dots

Even with the "wonky weaving" it's a cute card!!! Gives it personality!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this card!! I may have to lift this one!!
Great job on the challenge!
I enjoy the 'wonky weaving' but that could just be the first grade teacher in me! What a fun challenge...I've been watching it all year but like you have just been too lazy to play. Love the card!
This was my first time playing along too!
I Love your woven card...it looks great. Screaming kids in a tub...yeah!
Thats funny! I think your card is great! I have been making some Christmas cards myself lately... I need to check out this challenge! I love the weaving! I haven't thought of that myself and pretty sure I wouldn't have so... thanks for the idea!! :)
I love that card, and like everyone else, I think the weaving really makes it. I just figured out about "The Audrey Award". Sorry it's taken me so long to say congradulations. That card is beautiful. I'm so impressed with your card making ability.
Your card is so pretty! I love how you weaved them together! It's not wonky, lol.
Pretty! I love the weaving! Great Christmas card!
