We all got ready and went to the land. The weather was absolutely fabulous--sunny with a nice breeze.
Here's the start of the pour. They began at this corner and then worked around the entire house, pouring about four feet high at a time and then coming around a second time. It was really neat to watch them work!
This is the back bay window area. They ran out of cement and had to wait a bit on the next truck.
And this is them at the end finishing off the peak. D and the girls and I jumped in the shot. Check out that ginormous pumper truck arm!
Can't wait to go back out once the bracing is out of the inside and maybe pop some chalk lines to see what the interior wall placement will be...
