
Here's what I decided to do for my dad's bday card. I wanted something different and my acetate sheets fell off the shelf when I was looking for a stamp set. Voila!

It's kinda cute, not sure it really sure fits my dad, but I didn't want to do another golf card. {wink}

Flower card:
Paper: pink pattern (K&Co) desert sand cs, colonial white cs
Ink: desert sand
Stamps: flower w/bee (Anna Griffin), You've Got Flair
Other: ivory ribbon (HL), edge distresser
Dad's Bday:
Paper: white daisy cs, acetate (office supply store)
Ink: ocean, clover meadow, cranberry, sunny yellow, black
Stamps: It's Your Day (I think...too lazy to go upstairs and find out)
Other: yellow brads from stash

Yes we are flooding in Des Moines but not as bad as it has been in years past...so far. Snowed 6-8 inches last night again...so that will not help.
I am in a place that never floods so we are always high and dry thank goodness.

These are both so great! And I cheated a bit with my block printing- I used ink! I tried it with the brayer first and it was a mess! LOL! Oh, and it looks like it won't be long before you see your newest little one. How exciting!!
