This month I decided to switch things up a bit. I asked my sis-in-law to come and teach us how to make floral hair accessories. Click on Southern Girl Florals or Lindsay's Etsy Shop on my sidebar to see her beautiful creations. She did a fabulous job and everyone enjoyed her. I wish I had taken pictures, but no, I'm lame.
Our layouts were uber-simple! I saw a card somewhere (I wish I could remember!) that had cut cardstock to make grass, so I promptly stole that idea to make a picnic layout.

Then I saw a technique called PAPER CASTING and knew I had to try it with my group. So here's the card I came up with.

I also had the chance to meet Daniela of Purple on Paper and I must say she is incredibly sweet and not a serial killer at all. Wink! Seriously she is very nice and I could listen to her accent forever.
On a side note, I decided to change my blog background in an effort to make it easier to read. Also I'm the type of person who rearranges furniture all the time and I've had that old background for months!

And thank you also for all the sweet comments that all of you leave me. It gives me the warm fuzzies y'all!!
