New Challenge

I found another color challenge from a CTMH sister, Amy Shultz, so I had to show some love... Although judging from how this card turned out she may not feel love. I really liked the colors {Sweet Leaf, Chocolate, Ocean and Colonial White} and I wanted the card to be fresh and modern.

BUT I ended up needing to make a card for my mother in law's birthday. Blah. I know-I am being mean. Especially since you all don't know the reasons for my...let's say lukewarm...feeling towards her. And I think that's why I don't care for the card. Because it's a perfectly acceptable card. I guess. Whatever.

Okay now that I see the picture in the post I like it a little better. Gosh I am such a downer today. I'm going to blame it on the fact that I have to go spend the weekend at my inlaws house. Again-Blah!

Details: all CTMH

Stamps: Spot On Backgrounds, Happy Birthday, Cupcake Sprinkles and Birthday Bash

Paper: sweet leaf, ocean and colonial white cs

Ink: ocean, sweet leaf, chocolate (and buttercup on the flame)

Other: Prisma glitter

I like this card a lot, fun colors and simple. MILs can be a pain, but well, I don't know, that's all! Hopefully she'll like it or at least appreciate the work you put into it.

Hey Meredith! It turned out adorable... love that the ocean polka dots really stand out on the sweet leaf paper! I hear ya on the MIL thing, but hopefully she treasures what you make for her no matter what!

Thanks for playing!
