Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #8

Dawn of My Favorite Things posted yet another yummy challenge. Here's the colors...

I needed to make a Happy Birthday card for my Memaw and her favorite color is PINK! So I first thought of that when I saw the colors. I was looking through an old (OCT 09) issue of Scrapbooking Etc. that I had and I loved the layout on the cover. I mentally wondered how to adapt this layout to a card.

First I decided I needed to corral the girls into some semblance of a landscape-style portrait. Ha, easier said than done. I did get some cool shots though...

And I did finally get a picture of both of them. I converted it to sepia and here's the card I ended up with...

Paper: Chocolate cs, Hollyhock cs, Colonial White cs, Notebook B&T, Kraft cs-not CTMH
Ink and Markers: Chocolate, Hollyhock
Stamps: Happy Birthday, Intrinsic Backgrounds, Happiness
Other: Stipple tool, Ticket punch (SU), Scallop punch (SU), twill ribbon, sanding block, sponge daubers, foam squares, Colonial White brads
