Well I know my BFF's son is into four wheelin', computer games, and music so this is what I came up with:
I did this detail shot, not because it was such a cool aspect of card-making that warranted a closeup, but because I just found out I have a macro setting on this camera. I LOVE my new camera did I mention!?! {Canon T1I}
He turns 11 today and I am just now making the card. Of course I won't give it to him until I am snot free. Uhg.
Yes we have all caught the "allergies" here. The girls are doing so much better. Me and the mister...not so much. He actually went to the doctor today because he keeps running fever. Poor guy. He got a prescription for a throat infection. I need to do a post about his weird illnesses. He never just gets whatever we have. It always turns into a sinus infection or something.
Alright I am out of here...maybe I'll make chicken noodle soup for us.
Details: all CTMH
Paper: olive, bamboo cs
Ink: olive, chocolate, desert sand, black
Stamps: Rock Star, Happy Birthday
Other: clear embossing powder, chocolate brads, stipple tool, twine (from stash) foam squares

This card ROCKS. haha!
So that's what the macro setting is for....hmmm, maybe I should read a bit of the owners manual.
Hope your night is snot free!
COOL card!
I am so jealous of your camera.
Sorry you are all sick...glad the kiddos are recovering.
Love that! "allergies". Great card. I guess the little cones wouldn't have worked for an 11 year old huh?
I think the card works! I know I had a really hard time coming up with a card for my 13 year old brother. Boys are so hard... unless they're like under the age of 7...
Sorry about your "allergies". I love it when doctor's are always right about everything.
Did you say snot is covering this card?! Ha, just kidding. I think it is a good tween card. What else can you give em, maybe Robots or something cool like some comic book like figures. :) He'll like it, but he'll pretend he doesn't care right... ;)
