Is this odd?

I called the pediatrician's office to see if they had their flu shots yet.

"Hi this is Little d and Little 's mom. I was just calling to check and see if you had the flu shot yet?"

"For what insurance?"

"Aetna."

"Yes ma'am, we do."

For what insurance? Why does that matter? I didn't even ask her, but it does seem odd, doesn't it? I mean do some insurances not allow flu shots yet? Or what if I just wanted to pay for it myself?

I just found that question odd and thought I'd share it with you.
