Do you recognize this card? Look closely...very closely...it's actually different than yesterdays. After I posted that card I realized I needed a card for my sis-in-law's parents who are moving into their new house soon! I thought a chandelier would be cool for that. And then I saw that Penny's challenge was to use pearls. Well, that means yesterday's card was almost perfect for both...minus the Happy Birthday!
And boy, do those stamps not like CTMH ink. I ended up sanding the stamp to get it to take ink...YIKES! Thanks for the tip, Penny! Oh and here's my tip to add to that: TAKE IT OFF THE BLOCK BEFORE YOU SAND IT! I caught myself before I caused too much damage.
And since you are getting a somewhat recycled card image today, here's a fresh story for you...
Little m and D have this thing where when he tries to change her diaper he tells her he has to change it before it 'goes boom!' That way she thinks it's a game and cooperates better. Last night Little m was in our bed by 4am. And she was tossing and turning and playing and not going back to sleep so by 5:30 I woke up D and asked him to please try to get her back to sleep. He got up and and started talking to her and and before taking her to her room to try to get her to sleep he says "do you want Dada to change that pee pee diaper?" And I hear her say in a soft sleepy voice... "boom" Ha-it was so cute I had to laugh.
Details: identical to yesterday--HA HA I cheated!
